No im not advertising for Mcdonalds.

Guess what? I had Mcdonalds’s breakfast today! I know its not really very amazing but the main point is… I had it with my parents! Its like dont know how many donkey years it had been since i last had breakfast with them, not to mention, a Mcdonald’s breakfast cause I cant seem to wake up before 11am.

Its been so long since i’ve last had a proper meal with my parents. Normally i will just scoope my rice and some dishes onto my tiny bowl and return to my room, with the door shut. I missed the times when we would sit down and have dinner, talk about our day and watch some drama or movie. Maybe we are all just too busy with our stuffs, be it school or work.

My favourite; Egg Mcmuffin.

My Mum is so amazing that sometimes she can read my mind. Like what i want for breakfast. Although we dont have time for a meal together, my lovely Mum makes the effort to buy me my Egg Mcmuffin before 11am so that when i wake up around 1pm, i can happily munch on it. But then, i realised that i didnt do the same thing as she did for me.

I guess its the problem with most teenagers now. We all got no time for our parents.

Awwww i sound so emo.

Thurday with my lovely classmates. Thursday, May 21 2009

We have no school on Thursdays and so… we met up for our social psychology project. (only for this week cause normally i spend my Thursdays sleeping!) We’re supposed to meet at 2pm but i reached the Raffles Place at 3pm. Reason? I freaking woke up at 1pm. I slept at 3am the night before. And no matter how many hours i sleep, i still feel amazingly tired. Okay, back to the meeting.

Met them at Starbucks and had caramel frapp (the best) for breakfast. Started on our projects but… the cameras were a distraction cause we tend to cam-whore with it. Well, girls are always like that! But we still managed to get our work done! Headed for some late lunch and continued with our project and … HOME!

Oh and on the way home, i saw this man feeding stray cats. I want to love cats yet im afraid that they might claw me or something. Im not a cat lover but definitely a dog lover! I am so in love with my dog~

The swine-flu craze Thursday, May 14 2009

I think I’m quite slow at posting about this swine flu thing.. (well I’m always the slowest) but anyway, I’ll just talk about it!

Its quite ridiculous to see people going crazy over the swine flu. You see people going around buying tons of masks, taking precautions like temperature taking, going crazy when they have fever. (I’m one of them, I’ll tell you why later) But then again, this stupid virus is still so far away from Singapore. I guess Singaporeans are all so afraid of death.

And why im panicking? Cause i woke up this morning feeling so bad, thinking that i have fever. While I was trying to find my thermometer (which i finally found after 15 minutes), i went to google the symptoms of swine flu. Fever, flu, sore throat, was on the list. Of course i panic lah! I was thinking.. What if i really got the swine flu? What if I’m gonna die? I’m so relieved after the thermometer reads 36.4 Degree Celsius.

Okay i really have no idea what to blog about. My life is seriously a bore. Guess what? I was awake till 4:30am last night because i was on photoshop. Give me a month’s holiday, i bet I’m gonna sit in front of my MacBook for 12 hours or more. Till now i cant really get used to sleeping early. Maybe that’s the reason why I’m always late for school The earliest i go to bed is around 1am. I think i really need to revert my human clock back to the normal mode.

Down with flu. Wednesday, May 13 2009

It all started the night before when i was trying to complete my assignments, when i couldn’t stop sneezing and reaching for the tissues. This flu bug is driving me crazy! Makes me unable to smell at every of my meal. Even my subway cookies tasted like shit. And i sounded as if I’m crying In addition, it was such a bad week. I was late for almost every lesson and I’m sooooo deprived of sleep!! I hope I’ll faint soon and fall into a deep deep DEEP sleep.

I’d rather get a love bug than this stupid FLU!!!
I want to taste my delicious subway cookies. Its the best thing when you have no time for lunch.

First week of school Thursday, Apr 30 2009

Time files! And we’ve already started school for a week. It feels weird to be here, so different from the secondary school life we used to have All the lectures and tutorials… is driving me crazy. Somehow i just cant understand social psychology and its making me feel stupid. 2D arts was definitely a surprise. I was expecting more like those art classes we had during secondary school but no! Its all back to the basics; drawing. Modules like computer graphics and design & typography was fun! My week was kind of dull and boring. Its just school and back home.

I used to think that poly students have so relaxing lives. And now that I’m one, i feel so stressed up. You’ll have endless assignments to complete, read up on textbooks that make no sense no matter how many times you read, go through incomprehensible lectures (okay, maybe not totally). And that’s my poly life. I think i still cant adapt to this new environment!

I didnt really expected myself to get into Ngee Ann, dvfx. And to add on, its my 10th choice. Come to think of it, its not that bad actually. Hopefully i’ll fall in love with this course Oh, and i’ve got a bunch of lovely classmates!
